Beginning Ash Wednesday (Feb. 17) and running until Palm Sunday (March 29)
Consider a Lenten contribution to a Baby Bottle Campaign in support of St. John’s outreach partner, The Living Vine Maternity Home, a Christ-centered maternity home for women experiencing crisis pregnancies.
Specially labeled baby bottles will be available for pickup at the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper (Feb. 17), the Ash Wednesday services (Feb. 18), and all Sunday services on Feb. 22. During Lent, fill the bottle with coins, cash, and/or checks. Return the full bottles to St. John’s by Palm Sunday, March 29th.
This collection directly supports the educational goals of the moms in residence as they work towards self-sufficiency via GED completion and job training certification.
