10 a.m. All Ages Sunday School

Join us in Cranmer Hall for children’s, youth, and adult Sunday School classes.

Our Anglican Episcopal parish offers a welcoming and thoughtful space for spiritual formation, theological reflection, and community engagement. Each Sunday morning, adults of all ages gather to explore Scripture, church tradition, and the challenges of living faithfully in today’s world. Guided by the rhythms of the liturgical calendar and the principles of Anglican theology, our discussions range from lectionary readings and prayer book practices to contemporary issues viewed through a Christian lens. The format is conversational and inclusive, encouraging open dialogue, honest questions, and respectful listening. Whether you’re new to the Episcopal Church or a lifelong member, our Sunday School classes provide a meaningful opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship within a supportive and reflective environment.

St. John's first building was consecrated in 1843. When the congregation outgrew this building, the construction was undertaken of the current building (which is situated in Madison Square, across from the historic Green-Meldrim House, now the church's parish house). The building was designed by Calvin N. Otis of Buffalo, New York, and was consecrated in May 1853.
