Whether you are a lifelong Episcopalian or visiting us for the first time, this service promises to be a deeply moving experience of prayer, scripture, and sacred music.

Would you like to hear special brass music during our 11 a.m. service? Please consider contributing to our brass fund! Make checks payable to St. John’s Church with “brass” in the memo, and add a note of thanksgiving or memorial for Sunday’s Parish Paper.
The main service of worship at St. John’s features a beautiful and reverent ceremony in the Anglican tradition, with choral and congregational singing, a sermon or address, and prayers. This service will be streamed live from both St. John’s YouTube channel and from the St. John’s Website found here.
Note that the nursery (newborns to three-year-olds) is available from 8:45 a.m. to after the final church service and can be located on the first floor of Cranmer Hall.

St. John's first building was consecrated in 1843. When the congregation outgrew this building, the construction was undertaken of the current building (which is situated in Madison Square, across from the historic Green-Meldrim House, now the church's parish house). The building was designed by Calvin N. Otis of Buffalo, New York, and was consecrated in May 1853.
