Beginning Sunday, September 13, Bishop Lambert will begin his new class. For the past four years, his class has focused on the growth of our spiritual lives, but this year he will “shift gears” slightly and focus on how Christians know what they know when talking about God and his Son, Jesus Christ. Questions such as: “Who was the first church theologian to coin the term Trinity, and why?” How has Christian thought evolved, and who were the individual theologians instrumental in developing these concepts that impact a Christian’s way of thinking about God and Christ in today’s world?
He will use a book from the KNOW series, edited by Bp. Justin Holcomb, the Bishop of Central Florida. “Know Your Theologians” by Jennifer Powell McNutt and David W. McNutt. It is available on Kindle and Amazon Books.
