Fr. Dunbar’s class explores the theology, history, and practical use of the Book of Common Prayer’s service of Holy Communion. The class traces how the liturgy developed from the worship of the early Church through the English Reformation, and discovers how each part of the service expresses the Church’s faith and forms us as Christ’s people.
Whether you are new to the Prayer Book or have worshipped with it for decades, this class will deepen your understanding of the Church’s central act of worship and enrich your participation at the Lord’s Table.
