Bishop Lambert’s Sunday Class

“Sundays with the  Bishop”, class will begin discussing a new topic “lecto divina” on Sunday, May 1. Guiding our discussion and reflection using our new book “Open Mind, Open Heart” by Thomas Keating. This book may be ordered from Amazon or Kindle, or your favorite bookstore.

Lectio Divina, or “divine reading,” is an ancient Christian monastic practice of slow, meditative scripture reading designed to promote communion with God. It involves four main stages: reading (lectio), meditation (meditatio), prayer (oratio), and contemplation (contemplatio). It is a flexible, quiet practice often using a short biblical text, lasting 10-15 minutes to listen for a personal message.

Please plan to join us in our journey to deepen our relationship with God our Father and his Son Jesus Christ.
