The Living Vine

At St. John’s, we are committed to active congregational outreach ministry as a witness to the Christian faith. Every three years, under the guidance of our Outreach Committee, we carefully select an Outreach Partner— an organization whose work matches our mission to uplift those in need. Our current partner, The Living Vine Maternity Home, is a Christian charity that provides a safe haven for at-risk pregnant women, equipping them with essential life skills to build independent, stable futures for themselves and their newborns.

Our support for The Living Vine is hands-on: from spreading holiday cheer through our Angel Tree program—where we provide Christmas gifts for mothers and babies—to sharing meals, engaging in game nights, and bringing festive warmth by decorating the maternity home for Christmas. Additionally, we contribute by purchasing much-needed supplies from their wish list and actively participating in the Annual Links for The Living Vine Golf Tournament every May.

Together, we serve, support, and strengthen The Living Vine Maternity Home’s mission to protect, provide, and prepare mothers in crisis, empowering them to transform their futures.
