Faith + Fiction, led by novelist and parishioner Heather Cross, focuses on creating ethical and theological engagement with literature. Literature is an excellent way to dive into a deep conversation about what it means to be human in God’s world.

Sunday Night Sessions

Small Bites. Good Fellowship. Big Ideas. Real Conversation.

The Sunday Night Sessions is a forum for a serious yet approachable engagement of faith in our contemporary culture, as well as a platform for fellowship outside of the Sunday morning service. The events take place in St. John’s Parish House – the historic Green-Meldrim House – and are catered with delicious small bites and refreshments. Each event features a speaker or performer with time for questions and conversation.

Join us for evening concerts held in the church’s Garden Mall. St. John’s hosts a selection of national and regional touring acts and brings in some of the best of local food trucks to create an enjoyable summer evening. It’s a wonderful way of connecting the wider community to the vibrancy of the faith community of St John’s Church.
